3 months have passed in just a blink of an eye, from a newbie who is unfamiliar with everything in RMIT, at that time I even did not know how to use an camera or a tripod, have to find ways to deal with tons of essays. But times went by and I feel like a new person. According to my personal experience, what I learn is not just from books and assignments, but also through my activities, how I think and overcome my struggles in the learning process. Especially with the Making Media subject, through every lesson and lots of hard works to finished my assignments, I myself have conducted countless of valuable lessons, and here are they:
Podcast For the podcast section, the first rule is to master the primary and secondary research finding to be able to write an perfect script. I think that this skill is not a big deal for me, but how to put those researches into the script is a new thing to me. I and my friend had to planed ideas together, divided our works then roll up our sleeves and get started. Beside the recording part, I also volunteered for the edit part, so I have to spend a couple of hours to learn how to use the “Audacity” software, which is an application that was recommended by Mr. Erik. It’s like a mind-blown for me when I started to get familiar with it, all of my questions about the audios or songs that I have heard before have been answered through this progress. Unlike when I was a high-school student, be a university student meaning that you have to figure out how to solve any problems that occur during the assignments when working by yourself. After that, my group had some troubles with one of our members, he simply did not do anything besides sending his audio files to me; he delayed deadlines from times to times, until just a few hours to the deadline, I had to do his work on my own. From this experience, I have talked to myself that I would choose my teammates more carefully. Although we just received an CR for our work, but I think that: from this, I have learned many new things, especially the audio- editing skill.

Magazine Oh well! It can be said that making magazine is an exercise that helps me clearly found my hidden potential. I have never used Photoshop or InDesign before, when I first read the canvas, I felt really heavy. But maybe I was wrong: making magazine is really interesting. In class, Mr.Erik instructed us on some basic tools of Photoshop, everything was messing up, I felt confused with the layouts …
But then, after spending more than half a day, in order to search for Photoshop, I went to Google for instructions, I made the first "Double Exposure" photo, you don't know how excited I was.
Parallely, I also started the interview, I interviewed my “boss”, Mr. Bui Quoc Thong, a young talented director with a unique and impressive artistic thinking. I asked many questions about his film career: scripts and characters, and finally the fear of being different. Through that interview, I had to transcript the document to look more professional, I also learned from his saying "The larger your passion is, the more you fear". That's true, when your passion is big enough, you'll be afraid of more things, afraid that you're not good enough, not perfect enough for the next products.
Back to the Magazine, I was really excited when I was more fluently using InDesign, it was not as difficult as I thought, the ideas could be overflowing in my head. I spend a lot of time with this newspaper, I'm happy with it. Because last time it was only CR, this time I was very determined, I hope the results will be the best. The important thing I feel is not just the score, what I am most happy is that I have discovered what I am really good at, finding my passion. Who knows, in the future, maybe you will hold my products your hands?

Website
After talking about Magazine, I have to concentrate on making the Webpage. This exercise takes up 50% of the subject, I can't ignore it, I have to finish it with 100% effort. When writing these lines, my webpage has gradually improved. I embarked on making webpage from the first, hard working weeks writing the weekly blogs. Can you believe it, I seem to be into a blog that when I attended in activities, I always took a lot of photos to put in my blog. Blogging is really fun, although at first I was embarrassed to choose the template I wanted, but once I found the orientation, I rushed to work: forgot to forget to sleep.
Thanks to my lecturer, Mr. Erik who always give me the best advice for my works. He taught me how to focus on details and the meaning of word fonts and colours. The core factors of making media maybe the communication, I keep trying to communicate, learning softwares and making my perfect products.

Week 12 can be said to be “the week of deadlines", I have to say, "I am too tired right now":
3 deadlines per day and a few other things. I'm really tired, but, I feel so happy. Being able to do what I like, beside the "co-miserable" friends, I clearly understand the real meaning of the youthful enthusiasm.

Maybe later there will be no more enthusiasm like this, so now plow!
Thank you for your all supports! Love, QA
