Creative Entrepreneurship and Ideation
High Distinction - 88/100
KNOCK KNOCK is an immersive escape room experience inspired by Southeast-Asian ghost lore, where players navigate chilling myths through interactive puzzles, haunting visuals, and folklore-rooted storytelling. As the Marketing Manager, I lead the strategy behind its multi-platform launch: spanning social media, student engagement, influencer campaigns, and urban activations. What makes our project truly special is how it transforms cultural tales into tactile, cinematic gameplay, inviting audiences to knock, confront the unknown, and step into legends once only whispered.

ILL-FITTING SHOES DOCUMENTARY
Achievement:
Highest Achiever in a Unit of Study award for
Non-Fiction Screen Media
High Distinction - 86/100
Creating the documentary "Ill-fitting Shoes," based on the true story of our friend Irene Tran, involved various creative and technical challenges. I took on multiple roles, including director, screenwriter, editor, and sound designer, while also conducting research and supervising interviews. Our concept, centered around the metaphor of ill-fitting shoes, aimed to visually represent the struggles of being in an unsuitable relationship. Translating metaphor into a coherent narrative was challenging, so I employed poetic narration and visual contrasts to illustrate Irene's journey from oppression to freedom.

BREAKING BOUNDARIES: WHEN SCIENCE GETS PERSONAL
(Industry Pitch Campaign Strategy)
Achievement: High Distinction - 94/100
“Breaking Boundaries: When Science Gets Personal” is a design-led campaign that reimagines sexual health education through participatory storytelling, animation, podcasts, and public programs. It explores how artefact-based narratives and multimedia formats can make taboo or complex topics more accessible and emotionally resonant. As team leader and video editor, I led the campaign structure planning and pitching process. My contribution focused on leading the animation strategy—developing the episodic structure, scripting, and visual direction that centres around museum objects. I also shaped the campaign’s communication tone, co-created social media strategies, and worked closely with the team to ensure cultural sensitivity and audience relevance for young adults aged 18–25 navigating identity, health, and systemic change.

SKYWARD (A Poetic-Animation Film)
Achievement: High Distinction - 93/100
Skyward condenses a lifetime of memory into a three-minute screen-poem, following 25-year-old Ann’s dawn meeting with her younger self atop a rooftop café and culminating in a wordless farewell as her late father rides the past away on his Honda Cub. Cream-and-jade drinks, a pocket Doraemon and ascending memory balloons operate as tactile, cross-cultural metaphors, while a carefully graded colour arc and my original song “I’ll Carry On” guide viewers from the blush of first light to a midnight-rose release of grief. Crafting the film taught me how to prompt AI imagery, choreograph poetic enjambment with Foley beats, and trust compressed verse to carry narrative weight; in doing so, it transformed a TikTok #coffeewithmyyoungerself trend into a disciplined exploration of loss and renewal, leaving me with sharper technical skills and a clearer creative voice.

SILENT PROMISES PODCAST
Achievement: High Distinction - 90/100
In creating “Silent Promises”, I undertook a journey aimed not merely at narrating a story but at profoundly engaging with my values, beliefs, and assumptions regarding love, memory, and home. This project commenced with a fundamental aspiration: to encapsulate the profound nature of love articulated in correspondence traversing both temporal and spatial boundaries. Upon further examination of my personal experiences and familial history, “Silent Promises” transformed into an exploration of the nature of enduring love—its capacity to adapt, persist, and fortify in the face of temporal challenges and separation.
